![]() AND they have used a version/build of FFMPEG that will NOT run under "Windows XP/ Vista/" or "Server 2003/ Server 2008" tool / tool.exe requires at a minimum of WIndows 7 or WIndows Server 2008 R2. They do not comply with the FFMPEG GPLv3 license which the program was licensed to them. *sighs* This developer is using a staticly linked FFMPEG.EXE renamed to "tool" that is renamed to "tool.exe" whenever the program needs to convert input or output video format to a differnt format. Truth is this developer has no functional requirement that requires version 3 or 4 of FFMPEG and would operate just as well using FFMPEG v2.5 but really they should recompile it using the LGPLv3 license and include a copy of the LGPLv3 license text within the installation as well as attribute the FFMPEG open source project for making their product possible. I do have a FFMPEG.EXE statically linked version 4.1 that will run under Vista but it will not run under XP as whoever built it configured the PE headers to require NT 6.0 as minimum version of windows to load it under. It will not function under earlier versions of windows and since this software relies so heavily of video format conversion to either Author or Rip DVD's as is it is functionally broken on earlier versions of windows. We strongly recommend Music DVD Creator to all users, regardless of their experience level.*sighs* This developer is using a staticly linked FFMPEG.EXE renamed to "tool" that is renamed to "tool.exe" whenever the program needs to convert input or output video format to a differnt format. ![]() There's also a comprehensive help file that you can check out.
